FAQ
The Answers You Need
Do you take insurance?
We currently accept Virginia Medicaid, Optima Health CCC Plus & Medallion 4.0 for personal care. At this time we do not accept any other insurance provider or any insurance in Maryland. We are a Maryland DDA approved certified provider for personal supports & respite, therefore individuals receiving the Community Supports Waiver (CSW) & the Community Pathways Waiver (CPW) we can support. Also, we do accept payment plans and provide eligible families a sliding fee rate.
What is Support Broker Services?
This service is offered only to people and their families who are directing their services through the Maryland and/or Virginia Consumer Directed Services, authorized through Medicaid.
Support Brokers (Service Facilitators) provide coaching, consultation and guidance to people and their families as they assume employer of record or managing employer roles. Everything from recruiting and supervising staff, to facilitating personal futures planning and community resourcing can be done by and with the Supports Broker.
What areas do you serve?
We serve individuals and their families in Maryland, Northern Virginia and DC.
What do you mean by person-centered approach?
We do not use a one size fits all model. We understand that everyone is different and the level of supports they need to gain and/or maintain their life of choice will vary. Our primary focus is to develop a plan for the person and their family members that will benefit everyone and address social, emotional and physical support needed.
What ages do you serve?
We serve all ages. However, if you receive the Community Supports Waiver (CSW) or the Community Pathways Waiver (CPW), it is 21 years old or over.
